Finding My Purpose: Natural, Toxin-Free Skincare & Healthy Lifestyle

My Journey Begins: Corporate Life and Real Estate

For a long time, I hesitated to share my story and my products. I didn’t feel like the “poster model” for health and wellness, and I almost let that fear stop me from pursuing something I felt deeply passionate about.

Before diving into natural living, I spent 8 years in real estate, learning how to connect with people, manage high-pressure situations, and juggle endless responsibilities. After that, I spent another 8 years as a project manager in the corporate world, honing skills in planning, organization, and bringing ideas to life.

Even with a thriving career, I often felt a gap inside, I knew I wanted to build something of my own, something aligned with my values, passions, and love for natural, toxin-free living.

Growing Up with Health in Mind

I was raised in a home where health mattered. I remember watching my mum do her daily workouts and learning early on to be cautious of toxins, chemicals, and the ingredients in the products we used.

Despite this, I didn’t fully commit to a natural and healthy lifestyle until my young adult years. Even then, I often wavered, balancing what I knew was best for my body with the pressures of convenience, perfection, and how I thought I “should” look.

Marriage, Motherhood, and Real-Life Challenges

When I got married, I quickly realized my husband and I had very different approaches to health. He loved working out and staying fit, but convenience foods, toxins, and holistic living weren’t really on his radar.

Then came motherhood. Over the past five years, I’ve had two beautiful children. Along the way, I gained 20kg. My weight has always fluctuated, but this time I felt it more deeply.

I often wondered, “How can I share a natural, healthy product when I don’t feel healthy inside?”

That fear held me back for a long time. I was passionate about creating and building a business around natural living, but I doubted myself because I didn’t look like the “Instagram version” of health.

A New Perspective on Health and Purpose

Recently, in the middle of everyday chaos, sick toddlers, a busy husband, and disrupted plans, I felt a clear prompting to share my truth.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

  • Health is not about looking perfect
  • Purpose doesn’t wait for perfection
  • We are all beautiful, created in the image of the Creator, and uniquely designed for a purpose

Going live on Instagram recently sparked a fresh motivation in me, not to chase the world’s idea of health, but to pursue health on my own terms, in my own body, and in my own skin.

Encouragement and Inspiration

This journey has reminded me that vulnerability is powerful. If you’ve ever felt like you’re “not enough” to share your story, your gifts, or your dreams, I want you to know, you already are.

My sister actually encouraged me to start selling tallow many years ago, but I didn’t feel confident back then. I let fear and self-doubt hold me back. Looking back, I see that even those years were part of my journey, learning, growing, and finding my voice.

Why I Created Love Fat

That’s why I finally started Love Fat. It’s more than just skincare or cooking fats, it’s about returning to simple, nourishing, toxin-free ingredients that support our bodies the way nature intended.

Love Fat is an extension of my journey:

  • Choosing purpose over perfection
  • Choosing health over convenience
  • Choosing a lifestyle aligned with my values

Through Love Fat, I hope to inspire others to embrace a life of natural wellness, creativity, and conscious choices.

And above all, I want to remind you, you’re beautiful, you’re enough, and you were created with purpose.

Xx
